Questions Indian Pilgrims Ask
Absolutely. Lhasa (3,650m) is lower than Leh (3,500m). Our tours involve comfortable vehicle-based sightseeing — no trekking required. Hotels have oxygen enrichment. Every vehicle carries medical oxygen. Most travelers adapt within 24-48 hours. For seniors, we recommend the 7-day Explorer package for gradual acclimatization.
Yes. Indians cannot enter Tibet with a regular Chinese tourist visa alone. For Tibet tours, you need: (1) Chinese Tourist Visa (or enter via Kathmandu with Group Visa), (2) Tibet Travel Permit (TTP). We handle both. For areas beyond Lhasa (like Everest Base Camp), additional permits are required — also handled by us. You just send us your passport scan and photo — we do the rest.
Completely understood. Pure vegetarian (sattvic) Indian meals throughout: dal, roti, sabzi, rice, khichdi, poha, paratha, pulao. Our cook travels with the group and prepares all meals fresh. No onion-garlic meals available on request for Jain pilgrims.
₹95,000/person (Lhasa Quick Trip, 5 days) to ₹1,75,000/person (Lhasa+Everest, 9 days). All packages include: permits, hotels, meals, guide, transport, and airport transfers. NOT included: flights from India to Lhasa (₹20,000-35,000 via Kathmandu or Chengdu), travel insurance (₹1,500-3,000), and personal expenses. No hidden charges — we hate them too.
Fly from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, or Chennai to Kathmandu (2-3 hrs, ₹15,000-25,000) or Chengdu (4-5 hrs, ₹25,000-35,000). From Kathmandu: 1.5 hr flight to Lhasa. From Chengdu: 2.5 hr flight to Lhasa. We recommend arriving a day early in your transit city to rest before the Lhasa flight. Ask us for your city's best routing.
30-45 days before departure. Permits take 15-20 working days. We recommend booking 6-8 weeks ahead for the best hotel and flight options, especially during peak season (May-October).
Yes! Tell us your interests and we'll design a custom itinerary. Add Shigatse, Gyantse, Everest Base Camp viewpoint, or extend your stay. Message us on WhatsApp with your requirements and we'll send a personalized plan within 24 hours.
