A booking is confirmed when we receive your completed inquiry form and send you a written confirmation with itinerary and price. A deposit of 30% is required to begin permit processing.
We handle all permit applications (TTP, Alien Travel Permit, Military Permit) on your behalf. Permit approval is at the discretion of the Tibet Tourism Bureau. Permit approval is issued solely by the relevant authorities and cannot be guaranteed. In the rare event of permit denial, your deposit is fully refunded.
30% deposit upon booking confirmation. 70% balance due 30 days before departure. Payments accepted via bank transfer, PayPal, or major credit cards. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.
Free cancellation up to 45 days before departure — full refund minus $50 processing fee. 30-44 days: 50% refund. Within 30 days: no refund, but you may transfer your booking to a future date (valid 12 months) at no additional cost.
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all tours, covering medical emergencies, high-altitude evacuation, trip cancellation, and lost luggage. Proof of insurance must be provided 14 days before departure.
All tours operate at high altitude (3,650m–5,630m). You must consult your doctor before booking. Our guides carry oxygen, pulse oximeters, and are trained in high-altitude first aid. We reserve the right to adjust itineraries for safety.
Potala Tibet acts as an agent for hotels, transport companies, and other service providers. We are not liable for force majeure events including weather, natural disasters, political situations, or permit policy changes beyond our control.
